10 June 2012 Last updated at 18:01 GMT   Holders Glasgow City eased into the third round of the Scottish Cup with a 13-0 win over Second Division side Muireston United. Four goals each for attacking duo Jane Ross and Emma Mitchell were added to by strikes from Lisa Evans, Danica Dalziel, Emma Fernon, Leanne Ross and Ciara Barnes. Hibernian put five past First Division Paisley Saints, with new signing Susan Fairlie netting a double and Caroline Weir, Lizzie Arnot and Laura Kennedy also scoring. Hamilton thrashed lower league Troon 10-1 and Forfar defeated Viewfield Rovers 11-0, with Julia Scott netting a hat-trick. Celtic won 5-0 over Kilmarnock thanks to Heather Richards (2), Chloe Craig, Rhonda Jones and Emily Thomson goals. Spartans progressed with win over Dee Ladies, although their Reserve side bow out of the competition, going out at the hands of Rangers who finished with a 5-1 victory. Inverness were almost at the hands of a shock defeat to First Division side Buchan but, with the score 3-3 at full-time, Inverness went up a gear in extra time, with the match finishing 8-3, Natalie Bodium and Lorraine Cadden both getting hat-tricks for the Highland side. Aberdeen were also forced into extra time after finishing 4-4 at the end of normal time against Kilwinning. However, a double from Cara Simpson and a goal from Nicky Wright in extra time ensured the Dons a safe path to the next round. Premier side Falkirk did, however, find their Cup run at an end losing 3-1 to Second Divison Hibernian 1875, in the most surprising result of the day. ]]>
