Executive Director of the Chelsea: Drogba negotiations are continuing with

type='html'>Ron Gourlay said Executive Director of the Chelsea belonging to the Premier League football on Thursday that the club will discuss an extension of the contract with striker Didier Drogba Ivory Coast after the Champions League final soccer scheduled for May 19.

In response to a question on the future of Drogba, who spent eight years so far in the ranks of Chelsea and expressed his desire to stay at the club despite reports linked it earlier in the season to move to China Gourlay said the talks were continuing.

"We are discussing many things with Didier. Everyone knows that he spends another year in his contract with Chelsea. Talks are continuing with Drogba last January and earlier."

"I love Chelsea Didier and we all love him and we will continue the dialogue with him and we will discuss all things after the completion of the Champions League final."

The Drogba, 34, and scored in the match, which Chelsea won 2-1 at Liverpool in the FA Cup final a few days ago to become the first player to score in the final four games.

Drogba hopes of winning with his club the Champions League when they meet with Bayern Munich in Germany.
